Personal Blogging With A Business Twist
Written by JoannaAlvarez, November 28th, 2011

Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, its a fact that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the GPL liberal license make the wordpress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.

After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.

Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you want values for your blogs,to write real stuff for your blogs will be time consuming, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. Some blogs are quite interesting, look at this one, My Favorite Deals, it has a nice name, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, without a clear theme, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. One more example, Transportation Cargo Securement, this blog is themed, all topics are about same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. there are more sites like these out there, though I guess you get the point already. Here is one last note, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, just like this blog, Quality Dog Stuff, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.

When you already have a few interesting blogs, probably you can add a few more blogs to your arsenal, use the old ones to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. It sounds pretty simple, but it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, do remember don’t do any spamming tricks for your sites, if you get black listed there is no come back.
